Music Instrument Shop and Music Training Centre

LAM music offers a variety of new and quality second hand instruments, with a large selection of accessories, strings and instrument care products. Uniquely for this part of the peninsula, we have a music learning and education centre that offers both music technology courses and traditonal musical instrument tuition to suit all ages and abilities including a fully-equipped recording studio.

Our music technology courses are available in Cubase, Reason, Ableton and Logic. We also cater for the younger age group with suitable programs such as Fruity Loops, e-jay, etc. Our traditional musical instrument tuition covers a wide range of instruments including Acoustic/Electric Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano/Keyboards, Saxaphone and more. These run daytime and evenings, including weekends and are held on site in our purpose built training suite. In addition we offer a range of 1 and 2 day workshops on various subjects covering aspects that will help you to develop and progress in your chosen area, including ''music industry insight'' hosted by Off Beat Management.

Our tutors have a wealth of musical experience spanning many music genres and we aim to offer music courses to suit a wide demorgraphic, from the complete beginner right the way through to the more advanced learner looking to further their talent.

Our aim is also to provide the community with a ''hub'' where musical activity can take place and people of like minds can swap ideas, interact and find out what''s going on in the local music scene. Anyone is welcome to come along and join in. So, if you''ve always wanted to play an instrument or make music on a computer, or even if you''re a hardened musician, there''s something here for everybody - come along, get advice, ''have a go'' or just hang out.
